Royal Arch Masons

Capitular Masonry has existed within the state of Illinois since 1878 and as a result of its rapid expansion across Illinois in its early years the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons for the state of Illinois and its Jurisdiction was organized on February 9, 1880. Most Excellent Companion Joseph W. Moore served as the first Grand High Priest for the Grand Chapter and those who have served the organization to the best of their abilities in the same capacity are listed below:
